How does it work?
eSalesData incorporates four steps as part of the Business email append process.

Step 1: Format and Upload:
Append client puts his data into a required file format (CSV) to prepare for the appending process. The data to be appended is uploaded via FTP to eSalesData’s server where it is picked up for processing by an append technician.
Step 2 - Match and Enhance
Once the client's data is completely uploaded and formatted, it is matched against a master database of 160 million records. When a name, Company name and address record from the client's file is successfully matched against the master database, the email address is added to the client's file.
Step 3 – Email Verification
We verify the Email topology and the availability of the email domain. Then we establish an SMTP connection with the mail server to check the validity of email addresses there. Once confirmed the email address is verified further using our proprietary advanced email verifier software to confirm the Email Format, Valid domain and valid user. Finally, a standard message is sent to the newly appended email addresses indicating that the append client wishes to communicate with them via email. This email gives the recipients the opportunity to opt-out if they choose.
Step 4 – Download appended file:
After 3-5 business days for all responses, the undeliverable and opt-out emails are excluded and the file with append-approved email addresses is ready to be downloaded by the client.
Match Rate:
The email match rate will vary depending on the recency of the list and accuracy of the company data provided. The typical append rate is 35% to 65% for B2B email appending.
